Holiday apartment Haus am Bach Todtnauberg
No huge halls and no stucco on the ceilings – but a small, fine place to stay in the attic of our old farmhouse. Completely renovated and ecologically refurbished – like the entire house. Oak floors in the living room and bedroom, stoneware tiles in the kitchen/dining room and bathroom.
The apartment is modern and clear, furnished with a lot of love and a sense of proportion. New meets old, modern meets traditional; nothing is too much, but everything is there.
A perfect place to relax after an active day out in nature.
Floor plan
The living room
Entrance and heart of the vacation apartment. Open, clear, quiet, cozy. With sofa and armchair – both can be transformed into a comfortable sofa bed and an ottoman in no time at all. Two solid fir wood cubes serve as a stool and/or table. Great view of meadows and pastures up to the Radschert.
Open kitchen & dining room
The kitchen and dining room are openly connected to the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you need for cooking, eating and enjoying meals together – spread over two kitchen units: fridge, stove, oven/microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine (portafilter & French press), kettle, toaster, thermos and much more.
The dining table seats 4 people. The old chairs were part of the inventory of the old farmhouse – a fresh coat of paint has breathed new life into them.
The bedroom
Variable and flexible – space for 2 to 4 people.
The centerpiece is the “alcove”, which extends across the entire width of the room and is made of silver fir wood.
A large 2-meter-wide bed (king-size) and a lounger under the skylight – during the day a sofa, bench or lounger for reading or dreamily gazing into the sky. The lounger can be extended into a 1-meter bed if required. Another 1 meter bed can be pulled out. Who snuggles up in the alcove, how, next to whom and with how many people is up to our guests. If required, the sofa in the living area offers an additional sleeping area.
The “alcove” offers four different sleeping options, depending on the number of guests and their wishes:
When the window is open, you can hear the murmur of the mountain stream. Here too, your gaze can wander into the green countryside or the blue sky. Or you can enjoy a good book in the reading chair next to the chest of drawers.
The bathroom
Small and elegant. Washbasin, WC and a spacious walk-in shower at ground level. Equipped with hand and shower towels, soap, shower gel and hairdryer.
