What a great start!
Spring has arrived on the mountain and we have had many great and enthusiastic people as guests in the first few months of the year.

We have received a lot of positive feedback, which of course makes us very happy and which we are just as happy to return. Thank you to all those who have found their way to us so far. Thank you also for the warm words in our guestbook – an inspiration for hopefully many others to follow.

We wish all our previous and future guests a great spring and a sunny summer and look forward to welcoming you here on the mountain.

The time has come!

We are ready to go: Our holiday apartment Ferienwohnung in Haus am Bach Todtnauberg is finished and is now available to guests.

If you don’t have any good intentions for 2024 yet – we have an idea:

Here on the mountain in the beautiful southern Black Forest, out in nature, you can leave everyday life behind, leave the hustle and bustle behind and recharge your batteries. Hiking, biking, skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing … or simply relaxing in a deckchair or by the fire.

We wish you a happy, uplifting and inspiring New Year and look forward to welcoming you here on the mountain at some point in 2024.

With the “alcove”, the last piece of furniture and at the same time the centerpiece of the bedroom of the vacation apartment was completed just in time for our first guests shortly before Christmas.
Custom-made by us from Black Forest silver fir wood, oiled with fragrant Swiss stone pine oil, the built-in unit is a comfortable bed and lounger/bench with a view of the sky at the same time and offers flexible sleeping space for up to 4 people.

Things are progressing – the vacation apartment is taking shape and is currently being furnished. Some things are already finished, but there are still a few construction sites.
The first bookings have been noted in the calendar and we are looking forward to our first guests!

We are working flat out to complete our vacation apartment. But good things take time.

Over the past five years, we have completely renovated, modernized and converted the house on the stream with a lot of energy and love, mostly with our own hands. The result is an efficiency house 55, which combines traditional construction methods, natural materials and contemporary architecture. We heat with geothermal energy and draw electricity from our own PV system. The house accommodates three residential units, a guest room and – expected from fall 2023 – a vacation apartment.
